La España azul – Explorar, Aprender, Proteger

After 10 months around Spain since we set sail from the Basque Country in September 2022, the Blue Spain scientific expedition has arrived in Barcelona, concluding with the field work phase and sampling at sea.

NEXT PHASE?

From now on and during the next few months we will be immersed in the analysis of the samples in the laboratory of the University of Cádiz and the subsequent writing of the scientific reports:

In 2024 we will publish a scientific paper on micro and nano-plastics with all the data and conclusions obtained from the samples taken at sea."

SCIENTIFIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

La España Azul seeks to generate an environmental impact through scientific research that will be carried out by collecting data and samples at geo-located points for subsequent analysis in the laboratory.
